In-Person Workshop Policies

Due to the evolving business requirements of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have modified our refund policies.

If you are traveling to the area, we highly recommend obtaining travel insurance, and having refundable airline tickets and hotel reservations.

COVID-19 precautions and safety: All of our in-person workshops will adhere to social distancing, and the number of participants will be strictly limited to accommodate. All participants are required to wear masks and gloves at all times. All spaces, tables and equipment will be thoroughly sanitized prior to the first day of class, and sanitized at the end of each day.

NEW: All in-person workshop participants will be required to sign a Hold Harmless release prior to the first day due to the Coronavirus.

Santa Fe Cancellations: We urge you to register for workshops as early as possible, since minimum enrollment must be met for classes to be held. When enrollment is below our minimum number 30-45 days prior to the first day of class, there is a strong possibility that the class will be cancelled. We will make every effort to contact registered students in a timely manner if cancellation occurs.

Wait Lists Once an instructor’s maximum enrollment is reached, names will be placed on a waitlist and students will be notified if an opening occurs.

No minors At this time we do not allow children under 18 years old to register for classes. Thank you for understanding.

Animals: We welcome service and therapy animals at all times.

We do not prorate registration fees. For example, if you can only attend 2 days of a 3 day workshop, we don’t lower the cost.

Please be certain that you are able to attend before registering for a class.

If you cancel: All in-person workshops are now non-refundable unless we can fill your spot.

NEW: If we cancel due to any event out of our control (including further pandemic shutdowns or governmental restrictions): We will refund 50% of fees paid in the form of workshop gift certificates (redeemable by you or a friend) for any video video workshops, livestream workshops, or any future in-person workshops of your choice. The gift certificates are transferable and never expire. The remaining 50% of your registration fees will be used to pay the instructor the income they would be missing had they taught the class, and any expenses we may have incurred in preparing for the workshop. We have changed this policy because we understand our artist-teachers are dependent on this income to support themselves.

We do not offer refunds for in-person workshops after the workshop has been taken. If you were not satisfied with your workshop, please email us.

Online Video Workshops:

We do not offer refunds on our online video workshops. If you are not satisfied with your video workshop, please contact us:

Livestream Workshops:

Upon purchase, livestream workshops are not refundable or transferable to another person.

Technical issues on our end: We do not offer refunds on our livestream workshops unless there are severe technical issues on our end and you are unable to view the workshop in part, or in full. In which case, we will offer a full or partial refund to all viewers.

Technical issues on your end: please see our Q&A page, or email us for any technical difficulties during the workshop livestream. We request that prior to purchasing a livestream video, viewers will have an understanding of how to view the livestream (going to a web address and entering a password).

Waiver, Release & Agreement

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who interferes with the safety, well-being, or enjoyment of the workshop by other participants. If a student is asked to leave due to interfering, that student will not receive any form of refund.

NEW: All in-person workshop participants will be asked to sign a Hold Harmless release prior to the first day due to the Coronavirus.

Santa Fe in-person workshops: All workshop participants must agree to the terms and conditions of the Jen Tough Gallery/Contemporary Art Workshops Medical Release, Waiver of Liability, Photo and Video Release and Indemnification Agreement if they wish to register for workshops.
